IBA Conference business cards


The brief was to come up with a memorable item that could be handed to senior lawyers at an overseas conference. The annual conference is an for MinterEllison lawyers to position themselves as best contacts for any international work that requires intimate knowledge of the Australian market. A giveaway needed to be small and practical enough to carry in the hundreds.
Augmented reality business cards were both small and practical. Lawyers would be carrying business cards anyway. They would work as a standard card, but include a augmented reality marker on the reverse. I worked with our digital agency to design the cards and create a memorable experience that, in accessing the AR component provided an image of the card owner, and direct links to their LinkedIn and MinterEllison website profiles, opened an email addressed to them, and a vCard download.
The cards successfully supported our conversations around innovation, created a talking point and contributed to acquisition to website profiles.
