I am a product owner and user experience designer with 7 years experience managing the online experience of MinterEllison clients across a range of platforms. I am passionate about creating a positive and memorable user experience, remaining focused on customer needs at all stages of a project. The research and discovery stage of a project is very exciting for me. It’s this at time, that the opportunities to uncover a better way of doing things present.
During my time in this role there has been a significant change in the strategy and platforms available, and I have not only managed these for the MinterEllison brand, but also assisted groups within a large organisation, who wish to set up various social channels, develop apps and start blogs.
Prior to working in my current role I spent 15 years working as a graphic designer. This creative side, an eye for detail, sound organisational and communication skills fits naturally with the need to plan out web pages. It also has enabled me to work as a “translator” between all teams on a project, graphic designers, technology and stakeholders, ensuring messages were understood in each teams own “language”
During 2017 my primary project was as the product owner during the re imagination of the MinterEllison digital experience. My colleagues have said
“It is Robyn that drove the research, user stories, customer journeys, facilitating content creation, testing, agency management and most importantly – the user experience. And it is part of [the Digital Experience project] so far that I have seen the skill that Robyn has with people and in getting the best out of them. It is much harder to drive outcomes from people through influence than it is through a direct report structure and it is in this that Robyn is quite skilled.”
